My cat had crystals last summer. I spent $600 in vet bills. He does not like to drink water and does not like wet food. I used the vet's suggestions of buying a cat water fountain and buying different kinds of wet food. The water fountain was met with hesitation and he would not drink out of it. I tried every kind of wet food in the store and he would not touch it. He started to show signs of having problems again and I actually started forcing him to drink with a turkey baster.

I decided to take a risk and buy a full case of this food. At first the cat would not eat it. Then, all of the sudden one day he started to eat it. Now he scarfs it down. I have tried to replace it with cheaper wet food but he won't touch it. Every since the cat started eating this food he has not had another health problem. I will continue to buy because he is a picky brat and actually likes this one. He also started to drink out of the water fountain.

I have the world's choosiest cat. This is further complicated by her on and off issues with her urinary tract. So back in 2015 we tried this food out and she loved it. She didn't like the original which was chicken slices in gravy – too much work for Her Majesty to chew. However, the Chicken Entrée is close enough to being a pate that she no longer had a problem with the big chunks. After feeding this to her for a couple of weeks, I then confidently (foolhardedly?) ordered 2 cases and... she put her little nose up in the air and said "No more!". Sigh...

I then moved forward on a quest to find a new food that Her Majesty would eat. All the while, I kept the Pro Plan in my pantry thinking that I would give it away at some point to a shelter. Well, fast forward 18 months, and Her Majesty turned her nose up at another food that I thought she liked. (Side note... her aversions do not happen gradually... it's a sudden "I don't like this anymore" that... Read more

The same time last year the food was $14.89. Now it's a little over $21.... that's over a 40% increase in the last year.

The food itself is great and works as well as the prescription foods.
